Heavens to Louie is a delightful bit of funny that will make you laugh out loud. You can't help but love Louie Lou-eye Louis and Felicia Aphrodite Phelps. Their tale of misadventure and unexpected love is one ripping great yarn. The entire novel is a wonderful whimsical joke with beautifully placed punch lines, all delivered with ease and perfect timing.Louie is the guy you see in town that makes you cringe. His life is completely messed up because he just can't seem to stop making plans that just never turn out quite right. If he wasn't such a good sport, he'd be a tragic character. And Miss Phelps is the proverbial English teacher from he double toothpicks. She just needs a makeover, but not the kind anyone could predict or expect. When the two get together, the world will never be the same, not for their small town, themselves, or their friends--well not really friends.
